Five Star publications are "library bound" which includes extra stitching in the spine and are usually manufactured for the public/educational library markets. They also have the cover artwork and back cover copy printed directly on the cover and then have a dust jacket with the same cover artwork and back cover copy though the dust jack also includes the flaps with the front flap having the price and story blurb while the back flap continues the story blurb and has an "about the author."

If it's a 1960s or 1970s British paperback with no ISBN or starting 0583, it's probably "A Five Star Paperback" - something commonly printed on the front of Mayflower paperbacks.

If it's 159414 prefix, it's probably a hardcover from Publisher:Five Star (ME)

ISBN Prefix 159414 seems to lead to hardcovers by this Five Star Publishing, an imprint of Gale since 1999, which has been publishing SF since around 2004. See also Publisher:Five Star Trade which does trade paperbacks.

If it's 141040 prefix, it's probably a trade paperback from Publisher:Five Star Trade (same company).

If it's 07862 prefix it's probably a hardcover from the same company, mixed in with the Thorndike Press ISBN range
