DAW Books is a U.S.A. based publisher that prints nearly all of their works in the USA. DAW occasionally print in books Canada for the Canadian market. The Canadian editions are priced higher than their USA counterparts. For example, a 1st printing in the USA may be priced at $3.99 while the 1st printing in Canada is $4.50.

Please note that for DAW the Canadian editions will have their own printing history. While the first printing date is always the same you will be able to find 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. printings for both USA and Canadian editions of a title. The publications are often times indistinguishable except

• The price is in Canadian dollars and thus numerically higher than the USA price.
• On the title page underneath the usual DAW Books stuff at the bottom of the page the Canadian editions will have "Published by / The New American Library / of Canada Limited."
• On the title verso or copyright page you will see "Printed in U.S.A." or "Printed in Canada" depending on the edition.
