The purpose of this page is to co-ordinate the editing of magazines and to document issues that are primarily related to magazines. Any discussion of such issues should be directed to the talk page associated with this page.

Swfritter Current Projects

Pulps: Fantastic Adventures (1951-1953) concurrently with a few issues of pre-50's Super Science-Fiction.

Digests: Next up but on the back burner while I work on my relatively small pre-50's pulps collection - Bibliographic Tasks for Galaxy.--swfritter 22:46, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Ezines: Jim Baen's Universe, Aeon, & Something Wicked as they are released.--swfritter 17:48, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Davecat Current Projects

Analog/Astounding: I've been working backward through my Analogs, with occasional jumps around, & am now almost done. I'll be finishing the handful (6) I've got from 1952, 1953, & 1960. My plan is then to go back through it all, forward this time, checking (& verifying anything that isn't already listed as verified). -- Dave (davecat) 13:56, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Ahasuerus Current Projects

Working on Magazine:Coven 13, then back to finish Magazine:The Most Thrilling Science Fiction Ever Told. Ahasuerus 00:41, 20 July 2008 (UTC)

DESiegel Current Projects

I recently acquired several issues of Whispers magazine, and I have created Magazine:Whispers and am entering contents. i will mark each issue as verified after all contents, including reviews, are entered. i intend to treat the various mentions of recent or ongoing (as of the date of publication) projects in the fantasy/horror field in the "News" columns as reviews, which will lead to a good many review entries per issue. I have also entered or updated several pubs based on ads in these issues. -DES Talk 20:58, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

BTW, After I enter these, and read hem, i will quite probably not want to retain them. Anyone interested in purchasing or trading for the issues I have entered please let me know -- all are in quite good condition. -DES Talk 20:58, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

I also have a fairly long run of early issues of Asimov's, and i plan to get around to entering them eventually, but I have not been active on this recently. -DES Talk 20:58, 12 May 2008 (UTC)

Rkihara Current Projects

I'm entering and verifying Amazing and Astounding up 1950, and F&SF up to the present. I'm jumping back and forth between them since working on any one magazine for a while becomes tedious.--Rkihara 14:49, 13 May 2008 (UTC)

F&SF is pretty much done up to the present, leaving fifties undone for now. Astounding on hold, while continuing on with Amazing Stories 1960's up. Doing secondary verification of Fantastic per request.--Rkihara 18:00, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

Alvonruff Current Projects

I'm currently focused on making the import of forthcoming books more accurate (well as accurate as possible with data that's a prediction about the future), but when I wrap that up I'll go back to Analog 1966 and work my way forward from there. My box of Analogs from the 60s has been sitting unopened beside my desk for about 8 months now, so I don't know how soon I'll get to it. Alvonruff 10:36, 15 May 2008 (UTC)

Hall3730 Current Projects

My collection is heavy in Analog 1971-2004 (over 2/3rds of the issues) with a smattering before and after that period. I will concentrate in that area to avoid the area Dave is working in. Most of my Astounding is post 1955 and I am reverifying them to add the individual illustration page numbers. I will leave the F&SF and Asimov's until later. Thx, rbh (Bob) 00:05, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

Also actually starting on the Perry Rhodan magazines. Building a Perry Rhodan Page, organizing the data, etc. rbh (Bob) 02:45, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
First cut of Perry Rhodan Magazine page is in place, comments please! Thx rbh (Bob) 22:16, 12 June 2008 (UTC)
I can't really comment on the magazines, but I noticed my entering 3 British reprint books has upset the page a little. Feel free to ask questions about those. BLongley 22:58, 7 July 2008 (UTC)
Aside from the British edition problems, there was a second printing of some of the U.S. editions. Most magazines do not have multiple printings so our magazine page format doesn't have a way to handle that yet. When I get my current batch entered, I need to address that. rbh (Bob) 11:35, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Roglo Current Project

I edit mostly collections and anthologies, but I have Interzone #206 (Oct/2006) - present; Realms of Fantasy August 2001 - August 2004 + a few later; and most of F&SF 2000 - present. I plan to add Interzone #202 - #205 from online sources (Greg Egan's index) and missing RoF issues from Locus index; I'll add recent F&SF if nobody does it earlier (Apr - Jun 2008; I won't have July until late June). I'm interested in Subterranean Magazine and Black Gate. --Roglo 19:03, 27 May 2008 (UTC)

MHHutchins Current Projects

I've taken on Asimov's and Locus. On Asimov's I've almost completed the first three years (1977-1979), and on Locus I'm up to issue #217 (December 1978). So far, I'm missing issues #208 - 211 and #214. If anyone else has those, please feel free to update the stubs that I've created. Thanks. MHHutchins 20:01, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Bill Longley's Current Projects

... mostly try to AVOID magazines. However, I keep crossing over and I have, for instance, uploaded covers for the UK Galaxy Magazine numbers 1 and 3. I've also created a lot of stubs for the Lionel Fanthorpe Badger magazines "Supernatural Stories", which get complicated when half of them become "Supernatural Specials" with only a novel in. Previous editors have left the collections as magazines but recorded the single-novel magazines as books with no reference to the overall title. ("Compact SF" has similar troubles.) I'm willing to move some magazines to books, or vice versa, if people have a definite opinion. And I should get some opinions before I enter stubs for "Vargo Statten Magazine" or suchlike: but the British Data is coming! (Eventually.) BLongley 23:24, 7 July 2008 (UTC)

Dragoondeligth on Perry Rhodan

Harry, look on the "discussion" page for your questions. We try to keep this page fairly clean so we can see what each of us who dabble in magazines is working on and minimizing bumping in to each other so I moved all your discussion to the discussion page. I labeled an area as a workspace for us to collaborate. Thx, rbh (Bob) 02:34, 22 July 2008 (UTC)
