Help talk:How to link a magazine to its wiki page and add it to a magazine series

This help page states "The Editor records of a magazine must first be merged by year." This just isn't true. Nothing in either the rules or the software design requires that editor records be merged before placing them into a series. Granted, merging editor records in most cases first is very helpful, but there are times when this is unnecessary. It should be amended to soften the "must" to "can" and the varying circumstances should be explained. Mhhutchins 00:00, 31 July 2012 (UTC)
