The ISFDB has a facility to allow the creation of a new publication based on an existing publication. This operation is known as "cloning" and can save a good deal of time in data entry and title merging.
To start the process, display a publication and click on the "Clone this Pub" link in the left navbar. It will bring up a Web page titled "Clone Publication", which will display the cover image for the currently selected publication (if available.) The page will also contain four check-boxes to let you decide whether you want to reuse COVERART titles, INTERIORART titles, page numbers and external IDs.
