The following templates are available on the ISFDB. Most of these are specific to the ISFDB, a few are copied from other wikis. Click on the links in the first column of each table to reach the actual template pages, which will usually display detailed documentation of the template.

Linking Templates

These are used to create standardized links to wiki pages, to ISFDB database disply pages, or to other sites.

{{P}} Links to a Publication record in the database Link is by tag or record number; User can specify the display text; link is displayed in a special color.
{{T}} Links to a Title record in the database Link is by record number; User can specify the display text; link is displayed in a special color.
{{A}} Links to an Author record in the database Link is by author name; User can specify the display text, but usually doesn't; link is displayed in a special color.
{{Pubr}} Links to a Publisher record in the database Link is by record number; User can specify the display text; link is displayed in a special color.
{{Series}} Links to a Series record in the database Link is by record number; User can specify the display text; link is displayed in a special color.
{{Clute/Grant}} Links to Reference:Clute/Grant, the page for the Encyclopedia of Fantasy Static link, no parameters
{{Reginald1}} Links to Reference:Reginald1, the page for Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature, a Checklist, 1700-1974 Static link, no parameters

{{CID2}} Alias for Cover Image Data2 Exactly the same parameters and result as {{Cover Image Data2}}
{{Cover Image Data-PD Old}} Identification and License data for a cover image from before 1923 Puts the page into categories by artist and publisher, plus 3 fixed categories.
{{Cover Image Data-PD Renew}} Identification and License data for a cover image whose copyright was not renewed Puts the page into categories by artist and publisher, plus 3 fixed categories.
{{Logo Image Data}} Identification and License data for a Logo image Puts the page into categories by publisher, plus 2 fixed categories.
{{Sig Image Data}} Identification and License data for an enlarged image of an artist's signature from a book cover Puts the page into categories by artist and publisher, plus 2 fixed categories.
{{Sig Image Data-Int}} Identification and License data for an enlarged image of an artist's signature from interior art Puts the page into categories by artist and publisher, plus 2 fixed categories.
{{Author Image Data}} Identification and License data for a picture of an author, used under fair use Puts the page into categories by photographer, plus 2 fixed categories.
{{By Permission}} License data for an image (or document), used by explicit permission of the author User must specify the author, and any restrictions or details of the grant of permission. Puts the page into 1 fixed category.
{{CC-by-3.0}} License data for an image (or document), released under a Creative Commons attribution license, version 3.0 User must specify the details of the required attribution. Puts the page into 2 fixed categories. Similar templates are available for versions 2.0 and 2.5
{{CC-by-sa-3.0}} License data for an image (or document), released under a Creative Commons share-alike license, version 3.0 User must specify the details of the required attribution. Puts the page into 2 fixed categories. Similar templates are available for versions 2.0 and 2.5
{{PD-self}} License data for an image (or document), released into the public domain by the author who posted it on the ISFDB Only used when the author is the poster. Puts the page into 2 fixed categories.
{{PD-author}} License data for an image (or document), released into the public domain by the author elsewhere Must link to or cite the release statement. Puts the page into 2 fixed categories.
{{PD-author}} License data for an image (or document), not under US copyright Must indicate specific reason why this is public domain. Puts the page into 2 fixed categories.
