Help:How to merge publications

At one point the ISFDB had a "Merge Publications" option, but it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. Currently, the standard way of handling a duplicate publication is to delete it and then add any relevant details to the remaining Publication by hand. Note that Content data and Publication-specific Notes are not visible on the Title page and can be easily lost if you don't check carefully. Also, always try to make sure that you are not deleting a publication that is subtly different from the one that looks identical.
