Feature:90074 Interior art display

When an interior art record's title perfectly matches another contents record in page number and title, I suggest that the pub display displays it as something like this:

       44 • Room Without Windows • shortstory by Manly Banister • interior artwork by Vidmer

I have come across at least one story where the text started on page N, but the big illustration was on page N+1. How would this feature request be affected by these cases? Ahasuerus 21:53, 27 Dec 2006 (CST)

For this feature to work, it would be best to stick to the convention that we index interior art for a story with a single interior art record, using the same page number that we use for the start of the story, regardless of where the art is. In the example, if interior art is on p. 4 and the story heading and text is on p. 5, they are both indexed as starting on p. 4; similarly, if the story starts on p.4 and the first art is on p.5, they still get indexed as both being on p.4. I know this convention is not currently universally agreed upon, but I think it's a prerequisite if we do want to do this. Mike Christie (talk) 09:23, 1 Jan 2007 (CST)
