Valjeanne Jeffers is a graduate of Spelman College; North Carolina Central University, and a member of the Carolina African American Writers' Collective (CAAWC).

She has been published in Genesis: An Anthology of Black Science Fiction, Griots: A Sword and Soul Anthology, LuneWing, Liberated Muse: How I Freed My Soul, The Ringing Ear: Black Poets Lean South, Pembroke Magazine Volume 39, Revelry, PurpleMag numbers 7, 8 and 9, Drumvoices Revue Volumes 15 and 16 and The Obamas: Portrait of America's New First Family; and Genesis Science Fiction Magazine Issue 1 & 2.

In addition to the books listed here, Valjeanne has also published The Story of Eve (nonfiction). She works as an editor for Mocha Memoirs Press and is also co-owner of Q & V Affordable Editing.

She will release her fourth and fifth novels: Immortal IV: Collision of Worlds and The Switch II: Clockwork in 2012.
