Peter Glassman is a published author, designer, and an editor of children's books and young adult books. Some of his credits include The Emerald City of Oz, Cowboy Stories, Scary Stories, and The Story of the Treasure Seekers. Glassman is the owner of Books of Wonder, a New York City bookstore and publisher specializing in new and old books for children. Founded in 1980, Books of Wonder is New York's oldest and largest independent children's bookstore, rumored to have served as the model for Meg Ryan's shop in 'You've Got Mail.'
