Milton W. Ramsey was a futurist and wrote several books that can be found in the Library of Congress and at the Minnesota Historical Society in St Paul, Minnesota. His grave in The Soldiers and Pioneers cemetery in Minneapolis was unmarked until the mid eighties, when Carol Spooner arranged to collect donations from the family and purchased a small headstone for that purpose. Mr. Ramsey is thought to have been the relative to Alexander Ramsey, who was governor of Minnesota in the most early days of statehood. Related to my grandmother Florence Ramsey Spooner. He is also suspected of being involved with Ignatious Donnelly in his group of "Wild eyed futurists", corresponding with H.G. Wells, and of being active in high political circles.
