COUCH, Leigh (nee Erma Leigh Finley) born Nov. 29, 1925 to Floyd Finley and Eunice E. (Betty) Sparks (Finley Nolte): survived by a daughter, Lesleigh Luttrell (Dave Schreiner) of Madison, WI: a son, N. C. Christopher Couch (Jackie southern) of Florence, MA; a granddaughter, Mora Couch and a godson, Kurt Stone of Arnold, Mo; also cousins, friends and former students; preceded in death by her parents, husband Norbert Couch and a son, Michael G. Couch.

Mrs. Couch, who graduated from St. Louis University in 1950 was a science teacher for 30 years in area Catholic schools including 22 years at Assumption School; she was a member of First Fandom in science fiction and had numerous literary and environmental interests.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her name to some of her favorite charities: The Open Door Animal Sanctuary, Forest Park Forever or St. Louis Zoo Friends."
