Arnold was born in Fayetteville, N.C., on Dec. 15, 1947. He received a law degree from the Univ. of North Carolina in 1977 and worked as a lawyer until 1986. Since then he has been a professor of Business Administration at The Citadel in Charleston, S.C. He has published extensively in legal and business ethics. With his wife, he has published four horror genre novels as Katina Alexis, one as Athena Alexis (Along Came a Spider, 1991), and one under his own name (Southern Psycho Tales, 2004).
