Bio:Kae Charles

Kae Charles is English-born, but has lived in Wales since her mid-teens. She is married to a Welshman and has three Welsh-born children, all of whom are teenagers.

  She started writing at the age of 10 when she was given the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy, which she read in three weeks. Kae is a fan of Tolkien's work, and has most of his books. She also enjoys Star Wars, the original coming out in 1977 when she was 12 years old.
  Amongst her many interests are medieval weaponry, castles, photography, art, (she has drawn each character from the Satan's Moon series...the book itself totalling 1,995 pages, which was split into four books in order to send to a publisher....together with their clothing, jewellry, castles, horses etc;). She also bakes and decorates novelty cakes.
  Kae has a great love of mountains and forests, and in many ways, shares her love of the out doors with her character of Atalaya Igraine Karn. Incidently, Atalaya is her own knickname, and was given it by a Spanish penfriend whilst still at school. Atalaya means guardian, and as such was more appriopate for the character than High Queen.  
   Satan's Moon was written in 1977.
