Bio:James Steimle

James Steimle gave up a promising career in the legal profession to dig deep into library dusts and shush others from the dim stacks of endless volumes of forgotten lore. From time to time, he has surfaced to take on the role of a school teacher. In both venues, the library and the school room, he has shared his love for all things that fall between two covers. After narrowly escaping the San Diego wildfires with his wife and children, James Steimle completed a master's thesis on Writing. A student of nine languages, he is a hobby physicist, Tolkien researcher, long-distance runner, ancient historian, avid gardener, and an amateur psychologist.

James Steimle holds a degree in history, a master's in education, and has taught from California to Tokyo and back again. He is the author of stories published in the award-winning magazines Albedo One[1] and Neo-opsis[2], the science fiction anthology Forbidden Speculation[3], and many grand magazines including The British Fantasy Society's Dark Horizons[4], OG's Speculative Fiction[5], Tales of the Talisman[6], Black Petals[7], Nova Science Fiction[8], and Staffs & Starships[9]. He is also the author of the illustrated anthropological adventure, The Ghost People[10].
