G. Peter Winnington lectures in modern English literature at the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. He created and edited The Mervyn Peake Review for the (now defunct) Mervyn Peake Society and then launched his own Peake Studies in 1988. He prepared the 1992 Overlook edition of Peake's Titus books, selecting the essays printed at the end of Titus Alone.
