According to Coven 13, September 1969, p. 87, "James R. Keaveny, for a starter, is the pen name of a novelist and historian who opts for the double life". Since "James R. Keaveny" was Arthur H. Landis's pseudonym, the implication is that Landis was a novelist and a historian. However, although Landis had published Abraham Lincoln Brigade (1967), a book about the Spanish Civil War, two years earlier, it's not clear what novels, if any, he had to his credit as of 1969.
