From SFSite.com's obituary: "Alan Dodd was a reclusive British fan who only appeared in public on a couple of times. He died on June 5. Ron Bennett once perpetrated a hoax in which he claimed that Alan Dodd was a hoax fan he had created. Most of Dodd's fanac was in writing for fanzines."
