Pseudonym of Denice Jeanette Bradley-Ryan, the daughter of the playwright Evelyn Bradley. The long-mysterious pseudonym was disclosed by John Pelan in his introduction to the 2013 Ramble House editions of "Freak House" and "The Subjugated Beast", his information coming from the author's son. Previous research had indicated that Evelyn Bradley was the author, but according to Pelan he was just the go-between between Bradley-Ryan and the publisher, although he may have helped his daughter with some of the early novels. As of March 2013, Wikipedia still lists Evelyn Bradley as the man behind the pseudonym. Ahasuerus 01:59, 16 March 2013 (UTC)
