Serrano (1917-2009) was a Chilean 'philosopher' who synthesized Hindu and Nordic religious traditions with a Jungian underlayer and came up with such novel beliefs as Hitler was an avatar of Kali the Destroyer, humanity is descended from extraterrestrials, and this world is ruled over by an Evil Demiurge, the same one worshipped by the Jews. As a neo-gnostic belief system, the notions he promoted approached the craziest delusions of insane fascists. Yet for fiction, the worldview made for fascinating short stories almost Lovecraftian in their esoteric evils.
