The Preface to his Tolkien & The Silmarillion mentions his involvement with the Mythopoeic Society, specifically that he gave an address to their 1971 meeting, called "Tolkien, Lewis and Williams", published in Mythcon I Proceedings. It also thanks "Mr. and Mrs. Glen GoodKnight" for suggesting changes to the work. All of this together supports the idea that "C. S. Kilby" and "C. S. Kilby from Southern California" are pseudonyms of "Clyde S. Kilby". JesseW 08:34, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
