Sten

Re: the proposed Variant Title submission for Sten. This was bogus data with an invalid "999" ISBN. I have deleted the bad Publication record and the associated bad Title record, so the only data remaining should be for Bunch and Cole. Thanks for editing! :) Ahasuerus 14:22, 19 Mar 2007 (CDT)

- So in the future, if I see something with a 999 ISBN, I'll just go ahead and delete it. - Fritz 14:46, 19 Mar 2007 (CDT)
For the most part, "999" ISBNs are bogus. As far as we can tell, they are Amazon.com internal numbers (ASINs) that are mostly the same as ISBNs, but sometimes Amazon assigns a placeholder ASIN and then they never delete them. They are typically prime candidates for deletion :) Ahasuerus 15:26, 19 Mar 2007 (CDT)

Hi Fritz,

I just finished a book and saw that you had already tagged it. I'm curious on a couple of the tags and wonder what they mean.
