Documentation for the template: Miscellaneous Publication Content (transcluded from Template:Miscellaneous Publication Content/Doc).
Purpose
This template is to be placed on the image description page for a Miscellaneous Publication Content image used to document a portion of a publication under fair use. Please note that specific fair use templates are available to document a publication's cover or any illustrations, logos, and signatures that may be found in a publication. This template would be used with other material that does not fall into those categories.
Usage
Call this template as:
{{Miscellaneous Publication Content
|Pub=<TAG>
}}
or as:
{{Miscellaneous Publication Content|<TAG>}}
or as:
{{Miscellaneous Publication Content|<TAG>|<publication title>}}
or as:
{{Miscellaneous Publication Content
|Pub=<TAG>
|Title=<publication title>
}}
Note: In all the above examples, when a parameter is shown in angle brackets, like:
<Parameter>
then the parameter, and the angle brackets, should be replaced by the value of the parameter. For example: Title=<TITLE>
should become Title=The Name of the Book
(or whatever the name might be).
Parameters
- Pub must specify a publication record tag or record number, an acceptable argument to Template:P (which see). If the "Pub=" parameter is not present, the first unnamed parameter is used. One or the other must be present and valid for the template to work correctly
- Title is used to specify the title of the publication, for display. If an unnamed parameter is used for Pub, a 2nd unnamed parameter may be used for title.
{{Miscellaneous Publication Content
|Pub=<TAG>
}}
or as:
{{Miscellaneous Publication Content|<TAG>}}
