Hi, I've put your submission for Music for Another World: Strange Fiction on hold. You want the unknown format to be a trade paperback as well, and I don't buy that straightaway. Why two trade paperbacks almost simultaniously at different prices? Unless the differ in size -such as with Alastair Reynolds, who has no normal paperback (110 mm × 178 mm / 4.3 in × 7.0 in) editions in the UK. Can you give more detail as to why the £9.99 and £12.99 editions are both trade paperbacks? Is the £12.99 edition extra large?--Dirk P Broer 16:47, 16 February 2018 (EST)

: I approved it after finding out that it is truly a 21.4 (Amazon)/22 (OCLC) cm trade paperback. Can't find anything further on the special edition though.--Dirk P Broer 17:14, 16 February 2018 (EST)

Hello, I've put your submission on hold as it raises some questions. Mostly that your book is perhaps a magazine (whence the lack of an ISBN) and specifically the issue #6 of this magazine. What are your thoughts on the matter? Hauck 06:28, 17 February 2018 (EST)

Welcome!

Hello, Anthony Obverse, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhhutchins 04:04, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

Page count of Lost Cartographies

Re this publication record: If there isn't anything of importance on the first eight unnumbered pages, then they should not be included in the page count. This would include pages for quotes, title page, copyright page, and table of contents page. Otherwise, is there something of note which was not included in the contents provided? Thanks. Hello, thanks very much for your message. You're quite right, following these criteria the [8] pages should be omitted. I'm still learning the system here, but if I can figure out how to edit the entry I'll delete those surplus numerals now. Anthony Obverse 13:04, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Go to the publication (linked above), and click on the "Edit This Pub" link under the Editing Tools menu. Make the necessary changes, and then submit. After moderation the record will be updated. Thanks for contributing. Mhhutchins 21:02, 21 October 2014 (UTC)
Done it. Thanks for the advice. Anthony Obverse 07:08, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
