I've placed your submission to add this title to the database on hold for several reasons, most of which won't make sense unless you've been an editor here for awhile.  Under the current rules of acquisition (see [http://www.isfdb.org/wiki/index.php/ISFDB:Policy#Contents.2FProject_Scope_Policy definition 2]) comic books, manga, and graphic novels are not accepted into the database.  There have been exceptions made (e. g. ''Watchmen''.)  Having just noticed all of those listed in Gaiman's bibliography here, I wonder why the exception was made in his case.  Perhaps his stature as a prose writer has lifted him above that ''certain threshold'' (as described in the Rules of Acquisition).  I will bring up the subject on the [http://www.isfdb.org/wiki/index.php/Rules_and_standards_discussions Rules and Standards Discussions] page and you're free to join in the discussion.  Thanks. Neil Gaiman's Marvel 1602

I've placed your submission to add this title to the database on hold for several reasons, most of which won't make sense unless you've been an editor here for awhile. Under the current rules of acquisition (see definition 2) comic books, manga, and graphic novels are not accepted into the database. There have been exceptions made (e. g. Watchmen.) Having just noticed all of those listed in Gaiman's bibliography here, I wonder why the exception was made in his case. Perhaps his stature as a prose writer has lifted him above that certain threshold (as described in the Rules of Acquisition). I will bring up the subject on the Rules and Standards Discussions page and you're free to join in the discussion. Thanks. Mhhutchins 04:40, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
