A Question of Time

Steve, good job on your first edit with A Question of Time. If you wish to have a go at either adding a cover image from Amazon or uploading one to the database, you'll find all the information on how to do so here.

One query: the Amazon page for the book has a page count of 276, however the page count you entered states 288. If you have a copy of the book to hand, always the use the information in the book as Amazon is nearly always wrong on correct page counts (they tend to include all the unnumbered endpapers too). If you wish to edit the publication further and change any information, click on "Edit This Pub" in the left-hand link column, and then if you do have the book you can also do a verification by clicking "Verify This Pub" (you don't have to have an image of the pub there before it's verified, but it's good practice to do so).

A second quick consideration: You entered the title using "Faërie" in quotation marks. That's how it appears on Amazon, however ISFDB always uses the title page for accurate title information. If it's not in quotation marks in the book then don't use them in the edit, even for italicised words. You can always change this in a separate edit.

Jack: C. S. Lewis and His Times

I accepted the submission to add this record to the database, but have had to make a few changes. First, HarperCollins didn't exist in 1988 (they were formed in 1991). Research from a source more reliable than Abebooks.com finds this this OCLC record. I will update the record and give OCLC as the source. It is better to use book-selling websites only as the last resource, and after all others have been exhausted. Here is a list of sources. Thanks. Mhhutchins 18:08, 11 November 2013 (UTC)

For Want of a Nail

What is the source for the ISBN you want to add to this record? That number is not in the range of ISBNs assigned to Macmillan, which didn't start adding ISBNs to their books until 1974. They started with 0-02-######-#. Mhhutchins 22:33, 5 December 2013 (UTC)
