Welcome!

Hello, Shmglsky, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! BLongley 15:05, 10 July 2011 (UTC)

Ethereal Tales

Hi, and welcome. I am in the process of accepting your Ethereal Tales submissions, and I've had to make a few small changes to have them conform to ISFDB standards and policies. The more notable of those small things:

  • I removed the links to cutencreepy.co.uk covers. They didn't work (you need to link directly to a jpeg/gif file, not to a page that shows the image), and we don't have permission to link to that site. You can download them to your computer and upload them to the ISFDB and then link to those if you want. See ISFDB:Image_linking_permissions.
  • For interior artwork, if the art has a title or caption, we use that as its title. In the absence of that, we simply use the story's title. If there were more than one illustration for a story, we'd add [2], [3], etc. to the second, third, and so on. I changed "Illustration for [Story]" to just "Story".
  • The Cute 'N' Creepy site says the magazine is printed and published by Cute 'N' Creepy, so I changed the publisher from Ethereal Tales. Can you see what the magazine itself says?
  • I added cover artist from the Ethereal Tales site and price from the Cute 'N' Creepy site.

As I said, all small things. Overall, very nice. Thanks for the contribution. Please do let me know about the publisher. You can reply here by editing this section. Indent your response by adding a colon at the beginning of the line. Thanks. --MartyD 10:16, 13 July 2011 (UTC)

just says copyright 2010 (or 2011) Ethereal Tales. All rights reserved. No mention of Cute N Creepy site in the magazine but it is the editor's own shop/website she uses to sell the magazine with.

Thank for the comments. (Shmglsky 15:52, 13 July 2011 (UTC))
