Welcome!

Hello, Sferrino, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhhutchins 22:19, 6 March 2014 (UTC)

Your recent submissions

Hello, I've put 3 of your recent submissions on hold. They intend to change the titles of the publications from Demon XXXX to The Demon XXXX. Does this mean that the book were never published under the initial title? Or does it mean that the books have at some point in time changed title? Thanks. Hauck 18:13, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

Without reply, I've rejected the submissions. Hauck 13:36, 16 February 2017 (UTC)
I just saw this notice. I'm surprised I do not get an email on notifications here. The titles had changed in January 2017. Does this mean that the item should be added as a different item or was the issue that I did not respond in the three day time frame?sferrino 08:36, 20 February 2017 (UTC)
IIRC there is no email notification of user page's updates. I usually left a few days to a contributor to reply, without clarifications forthcoming, I act (reject or make the update myself). In your case, as the books have changed titles, you should add the new version instead of modifying the existing one that correspond to a real book and should be kept in the db (as we are interested in the bibliographical side). To do this use the "Add New Novel" link and enter the necessay data. This will create a new Title/Publication "couple" which will to be linked to the original title, we'll then proceed from there. A Wicked Hunger

Hello, I've approved your submission but changed a few things to conform to our standards: 1) deleted number of pages (meaningless for an ebook), 2) changed ISBN-10 to ISBN-13 (note that the ISBN links to the tp). The result is here. Hauck 18:19, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
