User talk:Raynayler
Welcome!
Hello, Raynayler, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Help pages
- Field-by-field guide to entering new publications into the database
- Help:Getting Started
- What the ISFDB Wiki is for
- FAQ
- Wiki editing help - Tips on how to use the wiki-specific features when editing wiki pages.
- Wiki Conventions - How things are usually done on this wiki.
- Help:How to upload images to the ISFDB wiki
Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.
Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.
I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Annie 15:41, 11 May 2020 (EDT)
Your missing stories
We are a bit behind on some of our magazines (as you had noticed) - too many things to do, too little people that willing do it. I put your submissions on hold for a bit - I will add the magazines through the week as time permits - but it will take awhile - will post back when done.
Galaktika 311 can take even longer - unless you happen to have a scan of the contents page handy that I can use to add the complete issue? My usual source for these does not have 311 so I need to do some digging. I will add just your story if it gets to that but I would rather find the complete contents and add the full magazine.
Generally for things like that, posting on the Community Support forum works better - more visibility :)
Welcome again! Annie 15:49, 11 May 2020 (EDT)
- These were all added: Galaktika, Lightspeed and Nightmare. If you happen to have the complete contents of Galaktika, it will be really appreciated :)Annie 08:31, 25 May 2020 (EDT)
The Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine Author & Editor Blog
Unfortunately, "The Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine Author & Editor Blog" (as linked here is not eligible for inclusion at this time -- see The Rules of Acquisition. So I cannot add the two interviews to the DB. Annie 08:34, 25 May 2020 (EDT)
