Welcome!

Hello, Purplehousepress, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Hauck 13:10, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

New publication submissions on hold

Hello, and welcome to the ISFDB!

I've placed a few of your recent submissions on hold because of the way that you have linked to the images; specifically, you are linking to images that are hosted on purplehousepress.com, which is not one of our approved sites to link images from.

For more details about this process, see specifically this wiki page for Image linking permissions. I'm guessing that given your user name, you are somehow related to the Press that you're linking to; if so, and you are able to gain permission, please create a post on the Community portal to alert others that we have permission to link to those images. If not, you could link instead to the images hosted on Amazon.com, since we do have permission to link to those already.

I'm going to keep these submissions on hold until we get the permission situation cleared up, but in the meantime thank you for your contributions and don't get discouraged... it can take a while to get a hang of the various best practices.

If you ever have questions when editing or submitting new content, follow the links from the blue question marks next to each field and it will bring up documentation of what to put in those fields and how to handle common situations. And if you're ever really stuck, feel free to post on the Help Desk and members of the ISFDB community will give you advice.
