Source of Moffitt birth date?
Hi, and welcome. I have your proposed change to Donald Moffitt's birth date on hold. I can see there is another Donald Moffitt author born in 1936, so I'm thinking you may be correct, but what is the source of the July 1931? Thanks, --MartyD 10:13, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
- Now that I said that, I'm not so sure. I found this listing a Donald Leroy Moffitt, born 1931-07-02 in Texas. That's not our Donald Moffitt. He was born in Boston (according to the biographies that go along with his books). I found this showing 1936-05-15, but it does not say what the source of the date is. Library of Congress Catalog lists a bunch of WSJ editorship activities for a Donald Moffitt born in 1936 and lists the Sci-Fi titles on a Donald Moffitt with no stated birth year. --MartyD 11:05, 28 May 2011 (UTC)
