Submissions accepted with a few changes and some questions

The books you submitted have been accepted into the database, but a few changes were made.

  • Based on the OCLC record, these are 18 cm. so I'm assuming they are mass-market size paperbacks, which should be entered as "pb" in the binding field.
  • The ISBN of one of the books was corrected. When entering an ISBN with an X checksum digit, it must be capitalized in order for the software to recognize it as an ISBN.
  • In order to distinguish the title of The Bastion Prosecutor from its subtitle (Episode X), I placed a colon after the main title.
  • The URL of the publisher's website was removed from the publication records. It can be entered into the publisher's data here. Click on "Edit This Publisher" link in the editing tools menu.

Some questions:

  • Should the author be credited as "AJ Marshall" for these records? We already have an A. J. Marshall in the database. I'm assuming they're the same person, but we need to know how the books should be credited?
  • Are you the owner of the mpressbooks.co.uk website and can you grant us permission to deep-link to the cover images that you have placed on these records? Otherwise, the links will have to be removed. You will still be able to upload the images to our server.
  • We have records for the publisher "MPress Books". Is this the same publisher that you entered as "MPressbooks"? Has the name changed between the publication of the earlier books? Or should they all have the same name? At the moment the database can only recognize them as two separate publishers.
