Germination

I accepted your addition of Germination, but made the following changes to match ISFDB standards:

  • Title: We do not include series names in the title fields.
  • Novelization: This does not appear to be a novelization (a work that was originally a movie, TV episode, etc. and converted into a novel).
  • Pages: We do not record page numbers for ebooks.
  • Price: Prices need to include the currency symbol as we deal in multiple currencies.
  • Image: We can only use images from sites that have explicitly given us permission to do so. See ISFDB:Image linking permissions for a list of such sites.
  • Pub Series: The ISFDB differentiates publisher series (publisher level series like Ballantine Adult Fantasy) from title series (universe or groupings of books independent of publisher like Dune Universe).
  • Publication Web Page: This field is for links specific to the individual publication. Series links, publisher links, etc. go on their own records.
  • Goodreads External ID: This should just be the number, not the full link.
  • Reviews: This section is for reviews published within the publication (a magazine review column for example), not for reviews about the publication.
  • Interviews: This section is for interviews published within the publication.

Germination, part 2

Regarding this submission:

  • We use "$" for US prices. I added the currency symbol yesterday.
  • Web Page: As I said above, the pub web page field is for links specific to the publication edition. The link you are adding belongs on the title record (and it is already present there}}.
  • As to your question on the series, that goes on the title record. The series is already on it as well.
