Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.
Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.
I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! MagicUnk 11:25, 9 September 2020 (EDT)
'Sere from the Green' and 'Through Storm and Night'
Hello Lauren. I've accepted your submission but had to make the following changes:
- We do not have permission to link to the website hosting the cover page, so I've replaced it with one for which we do (Amazon). Alternatively, the even better solution is to upload a cover scan to the ISFDB, and link to that image instead. Doing it this way will ensure the cover image will never disappear or change (Amazon is know to have changed cover images from time to time).
- I've also added price from Amazon.com, and stated as such in the notes.
- I've updated the format from pb to tp, as the ISFDB definition of format is solely based on size. When smaller than 4.25" by 7", it's pb, everything that's larger is tp. Amazon states size is 5 by 8 inches.
- As I'm assuming the publication date is not printed on or in the publication itself, the secondary source it came from needs to be recorded in the notes. I've added Amazon. Do let me know if you prefer another source for this data (or you can add a submission to correct/add any data as well)
- I've added 'second edition' to the notes to clarify there's a first edition as well - you may want to add this first edition too by cloning the existing record.
- I've updated the artist's name to Najla Qamber Designs as that's how it's written on the copyright page (got that from Amazon's LookInside - please do let me know if that's not what's written in your copy of the book). We try to record exactly what's on or in the book.
Also, could you confirm the last page number of the novel is 398, resp. 290? - see the rules for page numbers here and here. You can reply to this message by pressing 'edit' to the far right of the tile of this message.
If you would have further questions, do not hesitate to ask them over at the help desk. Also, reading through the rules (links in the welcome message above) is a good starting point. Regards, MagicUnk 11:54, 9 September 2020 (EDT)
Forgot to add: if you provide a synopsis, and it is coming from the back cover of the book, do state so, and enclose the text in quotes. Have a look on how I've done that. Regards, MagicUnk 12:01, 9 September 2020 (EDT)
