Welcome!

Hello, JonathanCrowe, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Hauck 17:09, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

Ecdysis

Hello, I've approved your submission but made a few changes: 1) resized (600 pixels max) and uploaded the cover to our system (it will avoid problems of deeplinking), 2) changed the title of the illustrations by disambiguating it (if no we'll may have lots of works simply titled Illustration. The result is here. Peraphs can you add to the data the publisher's name? I've also put each issue's titles in a proper series (Ecdysis) which allows to obtain this grid. Thank you! I wasn't clear about how to set up a series. Ecdysis is self-published so I wasn't sure what to add in the publisher's name field, other than my own name. JonathanCrowe 17:23, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
Congratulations, in addition to being the editor, you'll be listed as publisher ;-). Hauck 17:26, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
Just one thing, IMHO the issue # that you entered at title level is perhaps better placed in the notes (to give an issue # at title level is quite uncommon, see thrust for example). I've made the changes. Hauck 17:47, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
Gotcha. I will eventually figure this out. JonathanCrowe 17:52, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
You're starting with the most difficult part (magazines/fanzines). Hauck 17:59, 10 March 2016 (UTC)
