Welcome!

Hello, James Davis Nicoll, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- JLaTondre (talk) 17:26, 6 May 2018 (EDT)

Your Entry

I accepted the edit to James Davis Nicoll, but copied the image to ISFDB (see here). We only deep link to sites that have explicitly given us permission to do so (see ISFDB:Image linking permissions if you are curious about which sites). Since Facebook isn't one of those, moving it here seemed to be the best solution.

As for your question regarding reviews on your website, currently the ISFDB only supports reviews within publications. With a limited exception for webzines that are a market which makes the author eligible for SFWA membership or that have been shortlisted for a major award, we focus on actual publications (physical or ebook) and exclude web-only content (whether story, essay, review, etc.). Our policy page spells out the details. While at times it might make sense to be broader, it has been a limit that has allowed us to be reasonably inclusive without drowning too much. -- JLaTondre (talk) 17:26, 6 May 2018 (EDT)
