Welcome!

Hello, Ivorwriter, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!

The Middle Prince

Based on the description of this novel from your submission (Historical Fiction / Fictionalised Biography. It's not SF, but it's speculative fiction in the sense that it takes historical events and considers why they occurred from the human, the psychological perspective), it would seem that it's not eligible for inclusion in the database. Accepting it would stretch the definition of speculative fiction to the point where all historical fiction would be acceptable. In that regard, all fiction is speculative, but not all fiction is "speculative fiction". Our definitions are stated on the policy page. I'll hold the submission and give you some time to respond to this message. Mhhutchins 00:11, 24 June 2011 (UTC)

Because of non-response, the submission has been rejected. If you feel this is in error, please leave a message here. Mhhutchins 22:21, 1 July 2011 (UTC)
That's fine, thanks. ALWAYS worth a go... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ivorwriter (talkcontribs) .
