Submitting multiples of the same titles

Please be careful when submitting. With the The Lotus Tree Literary Review, Autumn 2022, you submitted it four times. This meant that one was approved and three were rejected. Please only submit once for each publication you are trying to add.

Sorting content titles

In this submission, your moderator comment asked about content title sorting. I fixed the pub in question. An explanation of 'pipes' and their use can be found in the bullet point sorting here. The Heaven Makers

I rejected this submission to change the date. The date correctly reflects the use of this image as interior art. Since it first appeared as 'cover art' in 1978 we make it a variant of the original cover like this. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. John Scifibones 18:15, 17 February 2023 (EST)

Regarding this submission:

  • This publication is primary verified (meaning the verifier has checked the pub against the database record). It is standard ISFDB policy that edits to verified pubs must be discussed with the verifier. Before submitting an edit to a verified pub that materially changes the data, you need to post on the verifier's talk page and discuss the edit. If you cannot come to agreement, you are also welcome to seek broader community discussion at our community board.
  • When there are multiple names for a given role, the software sorts the names alphabetically. There is no way to manually control which name comes first. The order of names does not indicate who is primary and who is secondary.
  • I'm not sure why you referenced me in your pub note. As can be seen by the history, I have not made any edits to this pub.

I did start a discussion here to get more opinions on the crediting for this magazine. If at the end of the discussion there is a decision to change it back, we will make the appropriate change.
