Binding codes and other details.

Welcome to ISFDB - I approved your addition of Alpha Rising and then changed the binding code from "Trade paperback" to "tp". I also changed your name, gasp, to G. L. Douglas with a space between the G. and L. as that's how we enter names in the database.

I then saw that we already had your book in the database under G. L. Douglas. Please take a look at Alpha Rising as it's a little different than when you had entered.

  • We originally entered the book with a 2006-12-01 date. You are reporting "2007-00-00". In ISFDB we go by what's stated in the publication. We need to confirm if the book states "December 2007", "2007", or something else. You probably know the exact date on when it was released and can document this in the publication notes using yourself as the source.
  • We are using a 500 pixel cover image from Amazon.com while you used a 566 pixel image from photobucket. I know we are allowed to use the Amazon images but am not sure about photobucket and so would rather go with Amazon's image or that we upload the 566 pixel image to ISFDB's server and then use it.

You may also want to add a bio at Bio:G. L. Douglas. Click on the red link to create a new page and also add {{BioHeader}} to the top of this page.

Please note that you should not copy material from another web site, or from a book, to ISFDB. If you are the copyright owner for the material then you would have the right to copy material to ISFDB but please be aware that by doing so that you are releasing this material under a creative commons license meaning the material could then be copied to other web sites. It's also possible, and probable if you use too much "marketing fluff", that what you add will be edited by others. Again, Welcome to ISFDB and if you have questions feel free to either add them on this page or to the [ISFDB:Community Portal].
