Adding books/publishers/etc. to ISFDB
Hello, I see that you tried to add Publisher: SmatteringsBooks to [:Category:Publishing Groups]] and found that did not do quite what you expected.
Here are good places to add things.
- ISFDB to add the books, authors, and publishers to the ISFDB database. See Help:Contents for help in getting started with this.
- Publisher:SmatteringsBooks - Just click on the red link to create a new page. Add {{Publisher Category}} to the bottom of the page and that'll add SmatteringsBooks to Category:Publishers.
- Bio:Cynthia Willerth for the author's biography. Add {{BioHeader}} to the top of this page.
Ideally you add the books to the ISFDB database first and then fill in the details on the wiki pages mentioned above. Please note that you should not copy material from another web site, or from a book, to ISFDB. If you are the copyright owner for the material on http://smatteringsbooks.com/ then you would have the right to copy material to ISFDB but please be aware that by doing so that you are releasing this material under a creative commons license meaning the material could then be copied to other web sites. It's also possible, and probable if you use too much "marketing fluff", that what you add will be edited by others.
