Welcome!

Hello, Evil G, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! MagicUnk 13:58, 24 April 2020 (EDT)

Hello Gary, and welcome to the ISFDB!
If I may ask, what exactly were you trying to accomplish with this submission? If you could tell us what you want to achieve, we can help you going through the motions, as editing the ISFDB can be daunting at first, and surely needs getting used to. Equally, you can ask for help over at the Help desk, or Community Portal. I will be monitoring your talk page, so you can reply to this message here by simply clicking on 'edit' at the right next to the title of this post. Cheers! MagicUnk 14:05, 24 April 2020 (EDT)

Hi MagicUnk, Thank you for your patience. I am actually the artist/author that my submission was addressing. I noticed isfdb listed an outdated web site for the artist (me) and was simply attempting to add the current website. I noticed there was a place for image, which I assume was meant for image of the artist/author. I tried to add a image of the artist/author. Obviously I am not well versed in the intricacies of editing and apologize for any confusion or problems. I am not even sure if I am responding correctly. Any suggestions, advice or input is appreciated. Thanks again!
You're doing perfectly fine :) I see that you have submitted another update that got approved already. I will then reject the one I've on hold. Do note that if you accidentally submitted a wrong edit, you can always cancel yourself by going to the left menu on the main ISFDB page and selecting 'My Pending Edits'
And two things to keep in mind when replying: use one or more colons ':' to indent your reply, and sign with three tildes, which will insert your name and timestamps your message. Cheers! MagicUnk 16:37, 25 April 2020 (EDT)
