Vastarien

Welcome to ISFDB. Here are a few things that had to be fixed from a recent submission (for Vastarien: A Literary Journal Vol. 3, Issue 2:

  • Editor names (or author names) should never have titles in them. For example, use "Jon Padgett" instead of "Jon Padgett - Co-Editor". You can always include a publication note explaining what kind of editor someone was on the issue.
  • Anything with an ISBN published after December 31, 2006 should use an ISBN-13 instead of an ISBN-10.
  • For cover images not hosted by ISFDB, we can only use cover image URLs for sites that have given us explicit permission to do so. Please see here for more details.
  • Initials in author names should be followed by a period/full stop and a space. You can read more here.
  • Titles should generally use normal capitalization. Therefore, no ALLCAPS, CaMeLcAsE, all lowercase, etc. See the "Case" section here.

There are a lot of things to learn when you first start editing here, so please let me know if you have any questions. On a related note, the submission for Bloodlines had the ASIN incorrectly placed in the ISBN field. This should instead be placed in the External ID field.
