What is the source of the updates here (the price and the year)? I don't argue that you are correct but our only listed source agrees with what we have so we need a source that says otherwise. We also standardize publisher names so the books stay together (a bit of a DB constraint). So in this case, see the notes here explaining the different attribution - but we will keep it as Alcalay in the book record. You can add a note on the exact credit though so if one day we have a better support, we can change it. Thanks and welcome to the DB! Annie 22:17, 17 February 2022 (EST)

Thank You for the reply! I have a scanned cover, but I was not able to upload it. It has max. 600 pixels along the largest dimension and less than 150 kB, but I get an error when I try to upload it ...! Here is the original (unedited) image: [1] Thank You!

That looks like a different edition of the same book - based on these two covers, there are two separate books out there. Maybe yours is the 1910 edition and what we have is the later 1911 one? Let me do some digging and see if I can untangle them.
As for the image itself - if you can make it smaller, you can import it (I can try as well). But let's first figure out what data belongs to what edition. If you have any additional data besides the cover, can you share it here? 16:10, 3 March 2022 (EST)


With the year I was wrong. The year 1911 is good, but it belongs to the FIRST edition (the cover that I was not able to upload). The cover that is posted to the record is a later edition, published between 1929-1935. See here: [2] = page 444 from the book: * * * - BIBLIOGRAFIA ROMANEASCA MODERNA, A-C, ed. Thanks for the information - let me work on that in the next day or so. We want BOTH editions in the DB. The bigger images (taller or wider) do upload but the library cannot handle them in some places. Annie 12:09, 4 March 2022 (EST)
