20,000 leagues under the sea (1964 Consul books edition) submission.

NOTE TO MOD

I have scanned the cover of my copy of this to add however I'm unsure as to how this is achieved and the tutorial suggests going through the entry's add cover link, which is currently unavailable until the submission is verified, and the upload new image description says this feature is for non cover images. Unsure how to go forward as this is my first submission.

Introduction in the front of this edition is credited to "I. O. E." Having looked through the ISFDB's author database this seems likely to be I. O. Evans as Evans has multiple essays on Vernes' work.

Strange Tales from the Scriptorian Vaults

A few things about this one:

  • pb is used for mass market paperbacks. An 8x5 book will always be "tp" in the DB. More details here
  • When an entry uses a common name (Preface, Introduction and so on), always attach the name of the book in brackets. That's technically not spelled for stories which are called Epilogue and Prologue but as the goal is to ensure that they are recognizable on an author's page and as they serve the same purpose as the essays, I updated these two as well.
  • I left the date as it is but you may want to look at the dating rules. In this case, using the date from Amazon.com/Amazon UK (2013-10-21) won't contradict what the book has printed so I would use that instead of just 2013-00-00. That makes the DB more complete :)
  • Added the price - as this is a UK publisher, we use the UK price :)
  • As this is as second edition, I also re-dates all stories so I can add the first edition.
  • When copying a summary, make sure you credit the source (see how I did it here.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for adding the book. Annie (talk) 12:03, 15 November 2022 (EST)

PS: One more thing - when there are internal illustration, add an InteriorArt title matching the title of the book for them if you do not want to list them separately. I did that - see how it looks like now. Thanks! Annie (talk) 12:11, 15 November 2022 (EST)

Richard C. Meredith / Run, Come See Jerusalem!

I am editing and PVing Run, Come See Jerusalem!, have added pub notes and deleted the note "Month from Locus1". The SV for Locus1 marks this as N/A. I have double checked Locus1 and agree that it is not listed there. I have replaced with "Month from Blackwells.co.uk as at 2022-12-14". Teallach (talk) 13:39, 14 December 2022 (EST)
