Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.
Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

CHAPBOOKs vs. book formats
Hi! Regarding your question: the format of a regular book usually fits into either of the categories hardcover (hc), trade paperback (tp), or paperback (pb), and it's only for magazines that we usually depend on a variety of other formats (see the help pages for details). This said, CHAPBOOK for ISFDB is never a format, but a title type, which was invented for publications that have only one piece of SHORTFICTION (or one POEM); as you may note in this example, it may well encompass an accompanying ESSAY and even an INTERVIEW.
One thing aside: it's better to use the HelpDesk for questions on ISFBD. Thanks, Stonecreek 04:25, 6 March 2019 (EST)
Thanks for the clarification. I'm obviously new at this, and I hadn't even discovered the "help desk" yet. I'll see if I can locate it. I do have a few questions that the FAQ and help pages didn't illuminate.
- Oh, I see, it's really not listed in the welcome section, but it's quite easy to locate via the Community Portal (see the list right here on the left). Stonecreek 13:35, 6 March 2019 (EST)
