Paul M. Grunwell author information

Thank you for posting this information. A couple of minor issues arose, which i have dealt with.

First, we do not have automatic permission to hot-link to blogspot.com, which we need for displayed images (see ISFDB:Image linking permissions for details), so i sownloaded the image and uploadsed it to our wiki under a "fair use" claim. If you know who the photographer was, or have more information about the image, you could add it to the Image:Paul M. Grunwell.JPG page. If you are the copyright holder, you could add a free license tag such as {{CC-by-sa-3.0}} or {{PD-self}}.

Second, our software always takes dates as YYYY-MM-DD, not YYYY-DD-MM, nor simply YYYY. I converted "1955-13-02" to "1955-02-13". (FYI, the software stores dates it thinks are invalid as "0000-00-00" which displays as "Unknown".)

Also, some authors have asked the ISFDB not to display their actual birth dates, for fear of identity fraud. Obviously, if you are in fact Paul M. Grunwell, there is no issue here. If I am mistaken and you are not Paul M. Grunwell, you may want to consider whether he would have a problem with this. When authors object to exact dates being displayed, we simply enter the year (as YYYY-00-00).

Again, Welcome to the ISFDB. -DES Talk 18:45, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
