Welcome!

Hello, Bardsandsages, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! -- JLaTondre (talk) 17:23, 4 December 2021 (EST)

Best Indie Speculative Fiction: December 2021

I accepted your addition of Best Indie Speculative Fiction: December 2021, but had to make the following changes to match ISFDB standards:

  • Pub Type: We treat this as an anthology and not a magazine.
  • Price: Prices need to have a currency symbol as we deal in multiple currencies.
  • Format: Based on the Amazon description, I set this to trade paperback. If it has a different format, please let me know and we can adjust.
  • Editor: The author field at the top of a new magazine or anthology entry form, is actually for the editor. The story authors are only listed in the content sections. When displayed, the software will show this field as Editor. I have removed the author names and used Julie Ann Dawson based on previous years (as the Amazon Look Inside is not yet available). If she is no longer editing these, please update.
  • Image: We can only use images from sites that have given us permission. I changed it to an Amazon image.
  • Web Page: This should be for sites specific to this pub. Since the link was for the series, I moved it to the series level.
  • Page Numbers: You are missing page numbers for three stories. Can you please add those?

We appreciate your submission & hope you will continue to contribute. ISFDB has some conventions that need learning so please check out the help links in the welcome message above. And let us know if you have any questions (ISFDB:Help desk is a good resource for asking). -- JLaTondre (talk) 17:23, 4 December 2021 (EST)
