Variant of Pursuit to Mars
The system usually connects serials to the novel title record automatically, except when the serial has a different title than the book publication. In these cases, we have to manually create the connection by making the serial a variant of the book title record. Your submission wants to make "Pursuit to Mars (Part 1 of 7)" into a variant of a serial name "Edison of Mars". It's not a good idea to make a serial a variant of another serial. The serial should be made into a variant of this parent title record Edison of Mars which is already in the system. I'll go ahead and make these changes with the 6 other parts.
