Welcome!

Hello, ArkhamDigest, and welcome to the ISFDB Wiki! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Note: Image uploading isn't entirely automated. You're uploading the files to the wiki which will then have to be linked to the database by editing the publication record.

Please be careful in editing publications that have been primary verified by other editors. See Help:How to verify data#Making changes to verified pubs. But if you have a copy of an unverified publication, verifying it can be quite helpful. See Help:How to verify data for detailed information.

I hope you enjoy editing here! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will insert your name and the date. If you need help, check out the community portal, or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Mhhutchins 17:47, 4 August 2015 (UTC)

The Children of Old Leech

You made a submission to update this record to add contents, then a subsequent one which added some of the same contents in the previous submission. As you can see, there are duplicate contents in the record. Keep in mind that once you've updated a record, you must wait for it to be moderated and accepted before making another submission to update that record. The duplicate contents will have to be removed and deleted from the database, and I'll do that for you once you've acknowledged reading this message. Thanks for contributing. Hey, Sorry! I accidentally hit enter as I was entering and submitted it the first time. Sorry about that!!!!

- Justin Steele (ArkhamDigest)

I hit enter while editing and then kept going after it submitted the first time. I guess I figured you could deny the first one and accept the second. It was my first attempt at editing on here!
Thanks for the help! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by ArkhamDigest (talkcontribs) .
It would be hard to reject a submission in anticipation of there possibly being another submission some time later which duplicates it, don't you think? No problem. I understand it will take some time to learn how to edit here. There are several helpful links in the Welcome section. And be sure to use tildes to "sign" your posts. Thanks. I've made several more changes based on ISFDB entry standards. The titles were changed to conform with capitalization rules (certain small words within titles aren't capitalized.) The short works of nonfiction should be typed as ESSAY (the NONFICTION type is for book-length works of nonfiction.) There should be a space after each initial in an author's name (changed "J.T. Glover" to "J. T. Glover".) Also, if you have a copy of this publication, adjust the source in the Note field and do a primary verification of the record (instructions linked above). If you don't have a copy, give the source for the contents in the Note field. Thanks for contributing. Mhhutchins 18:23, 4 August 2015 (UTC)
