The Username YellowSpine is a reference to the yellow book spine of the paperback scifi/fantasy/horror books published by DAW from 1972 to 1984.

These books are number from 1 through 580. DAW is still publishing genre books today, but only the first 580 titles have the yellow spine.

I have been collecting these books since 1986. After all these years, I am now within 9 titles of having a complete collection of 1st editions.
